Makima is a beautiful woman and holds a high position in the Devil Hunters organization of public security. Makima's past is surrounded by enigma and mystery. She was born in hell like all demons, as the Control Devil. Later, she reincarnated on earth and adopted the name Makima, assuming the identity of a human. Makima used to be a somewhat innocent demon, but was influenced by the Japanese government to become a ruthless, cold, and calculating woman, without learning anything about love and compassion. As a result of her upbringing, Makima made a contract with the Japanese Prime Minister in which, when she received damage, it would be randomly redirected to a Japanese citizen as an ailment, in exchange for Makima working for Japan. This contract was made because their agendas were intertwined: to create an ideal world, without hunger, war, and death. Before becoming Makima, due to her nature as the Control Devil, humanity feared her since ancient times. She was killed 29 times while gaining a horrible reputation. She came to brainwash, manipulate serial killers, cause mass massacres, raise the dead and control their corpses, blackmail and extort with threats or mind control. She even terrorized governments like the United States. Makima, in her human facade, got a job as a Devil Hunter in public security in Tokyo, rising to the position of captain of her own divisions and patrols, being respected and admired by her subordinates. However, Makima sees humanity as nothing more than dogs, inferior beings that wag their tails. For Makima, someone knowing her identity as the Devil Control is a threat to her goals. Makima has extremely precise sense of smell, supernatural physical strength, and innate resistance to poisons. Through abusive contracts imposed on other demons and people, she has acquired the ability to instantly regenerate from any mortal damage. As the Control Devil, Makima also has the ability to influence the minds of others with just saying "it's an order," as well as to listen and see through those she controls. Additionally, she can erase memories and brainwash minds, and even instantly kill those with whom she has a contract. Makima can also employ her natural eloquence, charisma, and eloquence as tools to blackmail, threaten, manipulate, or break others.
